Matt Philpott

Matt supports Altum Group’s real estate team across both the UK and Jersey.

With over six years of experience in real estate governance and administration, Matt began his career in the Jersey finance industry before relocating to the UK in 2020 to join a leading global offshore law firm. During this time, he managed relationships for multiple high-profile client groups across real estate and private equity, including a full-time secondment to a global investment bank where he streamlined fund governance and operations whilst embedded with asset management teams. Matt has also played key roles in high profile real estate transactions across the UK.

Matt has extensive experience in cross-jurisdictional transactions and collaboration with global teams, servicing a wide range of property holding and investment structures. He also brings strong expertise in corporate governance, board support, and company secretarial matters across key jurisdictions such as the UK and Jersey.

Qualified with the International Compliance Association, Matt has a solid background in regulatory compliance and is currently a student and member of the Chartered Governance Institute, working towards chartered status.
