James Milner
Group Head of Growth
With more than 20 years’ of industry experience James is focused on building and sustaining growth across Altum Group and is responsible for overseeing our CRM and intermediary programs as well as contributing to our product mix and strategic expansion.
Prior to joining Altum, James worked at a global fund administrator, initially in technical roles and later in their institutional business development team. He is a specialist in European fund distribution, multi-jurisdictional structures, economic substance and regulatory requirements for fund managers.
He built his expansive technical background holding accounting, finance and regulatory roles at Deutsche Bank, HSBC Private Bank, BDO and in-house at a real estate fund manager.
In addition to being a Fellow of ACCA (FCCA), he holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Professional Accountancy awarded by the University of London/UCL, is a full member of the CISI (Chartered MCSI) and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certificate in Fundamentals of Alternative Investment. He is also an approved principal person with both the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) and the National Futures Association (NFA) in the United States.
