Altum is proud to announce that Conor Roche, Head of HR, will be speaking on a panel discussing social mobility and its impact on Jersey businesses.
The panel, hosted by the Chair of Diversity & Inclusion Sub-Committee, Kiley Henley, and sponsored by Walkers, aims to explore the negative economic, societal, and political impact of a lack of social mobility. The event takes place on Thursday, 6 June at 8:00am at the Royal Yacht Hotel.
Social mobility is closely linked to equality of opportunity, and companies thrive when their people have the same chances to succeed, regardless of their background or environment. The panel will delve into the intricacies of this topic and shed light on the role that luck can play in determining our social status.
"I’m delighted to be speaking on this panel and to share my views. At Altum, we’re committed to promoting equality of opportunity and breaking down the barriers that prevent people from reaching their full potential. I look forward to sharing our best practices and learning from the other panelists as we explore this important topic to drive forward the great work Jersey is doing in attracting young talent to the island."
