Corporate Assistant Manager/Manager, Corporate – Luxembourg
Role summary:
You will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate and private clients focusing primarily in real assets. You will be responsible for a team of legal administrators and accountants and you will support the Client Directors with the administration and management of all aspects of company legal, transactional and secretarial matters.
Key responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for a number of corporate structures within a team, and work collaboratively with colleagues and transaction parties
- Co-ordinate legal, tax and other professional advice
- Develop and maintain the Operational Procedures Manuals
- Attend and minute client board meetings and shareholders meetings
- Ensure the client entities are in good standing and adhere to corporate governance standards
- Ensure timely preparation, review, distribution, and filing of statutory and regulatory reporting in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Keep client database up-to-date
- Acting as 4-eyes signatory on administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and external contacts
- Assist with billing information for clients including analysis of time spent and managing aged debtors
- Supervise and support staff training and development
- Provide operational insights and support to clients and their legal advisors during the implementation of new deals by reviewing legal and transaction documentation
- Providing assistance and advice from an operational perspective
- Guiding clients through more complex legal issues
- Collaborating with colleagues in Finance
- Maintaining accurate legal records
- Actively participating in growing and marketing our business
- Participating as a core member of our team and helping us sustain our strong reputation as a leading provider in trust and corporate services
- Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and taking the appropriate action
- Actively manage team members
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Hold a Master’s in Business/Company Law or Contract Law or New Technology Law/Data Protection
- You have +5 years of relevant experiences in a similar working environment or in a law firm
- You have a thorough understanding of Luxembourg laws and regulations
- You are fluent in English and French. Any other language skills such as German will be considered as an asset (but it is not compulsory)
- You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
- You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
