Christian Hertz
Managing Director, Global Head of ManCo
Christian Hertz is the Managing Director and Global Head of ManCo at Altum Management Company (Luxembourg) S.A.. In his role, he oversees operations, compliance, client service and business development for Altum’s global AIFM business.
With 19 year’s of industry experience Christian joined Altum from one of Europe’s largest third party AIFM service providers where he held the role of CEO for the past six years. During this period, he played a key role in strengthening the Luxembourg operations and driving the international expansion of the AIFM business, including establishing new offices outside Luxembourg to support global operations and product growth.
Over his impressive career, Christian has worked in legal and management positions at Linklaters and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, combining expertise in law and finance. He also served in senior roles, including General Counsel and Head of Legal.
Christian is a recognised industry conference speaker and actively contributes to regulatory discussions through CSSF working groups. He is also an active ALFI and LPEA member. Christian is fluent in French and English.

- French law 5-year program, incl. maîtrise at La Sorbonne and post-grad. diploma at Assas
- EDHEC Business School, Grande École program
- Baccalauréat in Sciences, Cum Laude
- Member of the Paris Bar from 2003 to 2016
- Member of the Luxembourg Bar from 2008 to 2016
