Ajay Bherwani

Ajay is a Director in the client accounting team and is based in Jersey. In his role, he is responsible to lead and support the Group’s client accounting team and ensuring the delivery and accuracy of high-quality client accounting deliverables. Ajay has a strong accounting, risk and controls background.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Altum he was as an Associate Director in the corporate services team at Crestbridge and provided corporate services to complex structures and arrangements. He acted as a client service director for a number of entities that provided a full range of directorship, accounting and administration services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and asset managers.

He also worked in senior management roles in Big4 accounting firms and provided audit and assurance services for asset management clients across different alternative asset classes (hedge funds, real estate and private equity/debt).

Ajay is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and completed his BSc Honors in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and Completed Levels 1 and 2 of the CFA Program from the CFA Institute.
