Supporting mental health through Mandela Day
As part of Mandela Day 2026, Altum’s Cape Town team came together to support the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), South Africa’s leading mental health support and advocacy organisation.
Through a lunch box fundraiser, colleagues raised funds to help support SADAG’s vital work in providing mental health resources, education and support services to individuals and families across the country.
Mandela Day is a global call to action that encourages individuals and organisations to dedicate their time and effort to creating positive change in their communities. For Altum, the initiative provided an opportunity to give back locally while supporting a cause that impacts millions of people worldwide.
The fundraiser reflects Altum’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work. By combining collective effort with local action, our people continue to support organisations that create positive outcomes and help empower others to thrive.
Initiatives like this serve as a reminder that meaningful change often starts with small actions. By coming together in support of important causes, our teams continue to embody the values that define Altum and the positive impact we strive to create.
The Altum Advantage is not only about delivering positive outcomes for our clients, but also about empowering our people to make a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.
