Attending the Guernsey Funds Forum 2026 reinforced just how firmly the island has positioned itself as a globally relevant funds jurisdiction – now administering over $1 trillion in AUM.

What stood out wasn’t just scale, but maturity. Guernsey’s ability to evolve, adapt and respond to changing global dynamics continues to underpin its strong positioning for future growth.

Here are four key themes that emerged:

Guernsey’s position is strong, but not static. Its continued success will depend on how effectively it leans into its strengths: speed, flexibility, service quality, and pragmatic regulation.

Just as importantly, there is a growing need to continue educating the global market on these advantages, ensuring Guernsey remains front of mind in an increasingly competitive and complex landscape.

The direction of travel is clear: agility will be the defining edge.
