Altum Group has appointed Conor Roche as its first Chief People Officer, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to investing in leadership, organisational capability and the people strategy required to support its next phase of growth.

The creation of the role reflects the increasingly strategic importance of people and culture within the executive team. As businesses navigate rapid technological change, evolving client expectations, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence, attracting, developing and retaining exceptional talent has become a key-driver of long-term success.

Conor joined Altum in 2023 as Head of Human Resources and has supported the business through a period of significant growth, expanding the organisation from one jurisdiction to six. During that time, he has led a number of strategic initiatives focusing on culture, engagement, talent and leadership development, as well as the Group’s reward and shared ownership structure, helping to build the infrastructure required to scale the business internationally.

His appointment reflects Altum’s long-standing commitment to developing senior leaders from within. The business continues to invest heavily in internal talent, recognising that sustainable growth is built by creating opportunities for people to progress and take on increased responsibilities.

As Chief People Officer, Conor will lead Altum’s global people strategy, with a focus on building leadership depth, developing future talent, strengthening organisational performance and ensuring the business is equipped for the changing world of work. He will play a critical role in helping people adapt, embrace new technology and focus on the human skills that create lasting advantage for our clients.
