Fund Financial Controller (Full-time or Part-Time)
Role summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Fund Financial Controller to support Altum Management Company (Luxembourg) S.A. (“AMC” or “the Company”) in overseeing and managing revenue processes for our fund clients. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our revenues are accurately calculated, invoiced, collected, and reported in a timely and efficient manner.

Role responsibilities:
As a Fund Financial Controller, you will:
- Calculate and oversee the Company’s revenues related to our funds’ clients
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of revenues, including trailer fees, management company fees, and investment management fees.
- Supervise and support the internal payments team;
- Monitor and follow up on revenue collection to ensure prompt payment from our fund clients;
- Oversee the monitoring and timely payment of service provider invoices relating to our fund clients.
- Reconcile invoiced revenues against reported revenues in recurring financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Assist in preparing the Company’s revenue budget and regularly update revenue forecasts. Reconcile actual revenues against both invoiced and budgeted figures.
- Collaborate with the Altum Group team responsible for corporate accounting for the Company.
- Monitor the Company’s aged debtors report and proactively follow up to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
In addition, you will:
- Support the timely and accurate response to statutory audit queries related to the Company’s revenue and financial reporting;
- Assist the internal corporate accounting team to ensure revenues are accurately and promptly recorded in the Company’s accounting systems.
- Support the Oversight team in charge of the ongoing supervision of the Management Company delegates (investment managers, marketing intermediaries, fund administrators…)
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent);
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in audit (preferably with a Big 4 firm);
- Good knowledge of financial markets and investment products;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to think critically and offer creative solutions (“out of the box thinking”);
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude;
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
